What accountancy system should I use?
Finding and implementing a robust and scalable accounting system to ensure that cash flow, profitability and stock are all accurate and up to date is crucial for making well-informed decisions. We have reviewed 18 different comparison websites, industry reports and sector reviews (hereafter termed “expert sources”). We don’t consider any one review to be the final word on the subject, instead we amalgamate all results to reach a consensus.
Some of our sources provide additional helpful information to aid your decision making such as detailing features (although be mindful that the software providers regularly release new features, meaning this data may be slightly behind the latest software version). Most sites give a summary of strengths and weaknesses to back up individual judgments. Where a site doesn’t explicit rank its top providers, we give each firm the same score in our assessment. We also provide a small weighting for frequency of recommendation and UK presence.
